Heriberta is a beautiful little girl, daughter of a religiously orthodox woman and of a deceased medical doctor, from whom she inherited an anatomy book and a fine scalpel. Her mother thinks that the girl will be a medical doctor, just like her father, but what she wants to be, is a vampire.
